ABout Docklands Youth Services
Docklands Youth Services was formed in 1998 and is a network of youth and community groups, from the statutory, community and voluntary sectors who meet once a month in order to share information and to plan and provide services and activities for young people living in the Blackwall Millwall and Cubitt Town wards of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. (LAP 8)
Docklands Youth Services (DYS) aims to work with young people to:
- Deliver a programme of leisure, recreation and educational opportunities
- Promote racial tolerance and good community relations
- Increase opportunities for participation with statutory and voluntary sectors as well as the business community
- Involve young people in the decision making process and with the delivery of services
Docklands Youth Services is a registered charity (1138779).
